貓王 Elvis Aaron Presley 在 1960 年灌製了這首 Summer kisses, Winter tears 好聽的英文歌曲，後來改編為國語歌曲「多少柔情多少淚」渾然成為一體。貓王的原唱聲音柔美感情深厚，難怪他會成為世界出名令人永遠懷念的偉大歌星。

改編成國語的歌詞也很有意思，當年紀漸長想起過去，總會覺得往事如煙去不回，很多事情無法去認真計較，只能在寂寞孤單的夜裡獨自沈醉，想像著多情劍客帶著無情劍，闖蕩江湖一身憔悴，最後還是回到多少柔情多少淚。
